Terms of Service
Effective July 22, 2026
Welcome to ReelFresh. These terms are the agreement between you and ReelFresh (“ReelFresh,” “we,” “us”) for using our website and the Tribe Logbook. By using the site or submitting a story, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who can use ReelFresh
You must be 18 or older to use ReelFresh or submit a story. By using the site, you confirm that you are.
What ReelFresh is
ReelFresh is a community space where fishermen share a short, honest story about what the water means to them. Nothing you submit appears publicly until a real person reviews and approves it. We may decline, remove, or lightly format any submission at our discretion. Approval is never guaranteed.
Your story and the permission you give us
You keep ownership of your story. By submitting it, you grant ReelFresh a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and share your submitted content on the Tribe Logbook, and to feature your card on ReelFresh’s own pages and social channels.
You confirm that your submission is your own (or that you have the right to share it), that it’s accurate to you, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law.
Keep it about the water
Please don’t submit anything that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes someone’s rights or shares another person’s private information. We want the Logbook to be a place people are glad they found.
Review and removal
Every submission is reviewed by a person before it can appear. We may approve, decline, or later remove any content, with or without notice, for any reason, including keeping the Logbook safe and welcoming.
Your entry number and card
Approved stories receive a permanent entry number and a shareable card link, offered for your enjoyment. We may change, limit, or discontinue features of the site over time.
Our content
The ReelFresh name, logo, site design, and our original content belong to us. Please don’t copy, resell, or misuse them.
Availability and disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it running well, but we don’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelFresh and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site (which, for the Tribe Logbook, is nothing).
Your responsibility
You agree to cover any claims or costs that arise from content you submit or from your misuse of the site, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
